Published: Sep 12, 2018 by Tamara Kelly · 11 Comments

Red Heart Hygge is a brand new yarn with the look of luxurious mohair or angora... but even softer and so much easier to care for! This month I'm taking a closer look at Red Heart Hygge in the Yarn Love yarn review (and more) on Moogly!

What would you like to make with Red Heart Hygge? I've got one pattern in progress - you can see the swatch in the video above! It uses Cloud, the soft grey shade of Hygge. I'm estimating 6-8 balls will be needed, depending on size. Luckily, I'm giving away 8 balls during the month of September 2018!

Hi Carman! Have you tried searching the stashes on Ravelry? You might find one there someone is willing to part with!

I bought one skein at JoAnn and loved it but they don't have a large inventory. I found every color on Amazon.

It's the same at my local shop - I wish there were about 3 more yarn aisles!

Hi Tamara .. this yarn seems amazing and since it has 30% nylon do you think i could make socks out of it ... As I know that acrylic only not very good as its easy to rip through the socks

      thank you for reading me

p.s. I love to watch your video as you often have the answer to a question i had/have ... please keep up this very good work you are doing for all knitters out there.

Hi Sylvie! I'm afraid I don't have a whole lot of crochet sock making experience! But thank you so much, I'm sorry I can't be more help with this one! ♥

Hi, I live in Ontario and the Walmarts and Michaels stores carry a very limited stock of 3 or 4 colours but I did check out Amazon and a lot of the colours are priced much higher but I guess if it’s the colour(s) you want then that’s what you will pay but not me. I have knit a few hats with hygge and I absolutely love it. The hats are so cozy and warm and no itchy at all. Thanks for your video.

I'm glad you've still got some up there - it's been discontinued so enjoy!
