The Velvet Mobius Ear Warmer pattern includes six sizes to fit the whole family! If you are between sizes, just think about the fit desired - do you have a lot of hair and prefer it a little looser? Or do you want it nice and tight to protect from the cold?

NOTES:
Sizes are written in the pattern as Baby-16”(Toddler-18”, Child-20”, Teen-22”, Woman-23”, Man-24”). If you prefer a tighter fit, you may wish to go down a size.
For custom sizing or other yarns/gauges, start with any number of fhdc stitches, working to the desired head circumference. Then, continue with the "flip beg of row over" instructions and the remainder of the pattern as written.
Note the way a mobius works - each "round" actually goes around the project twice. So for instance, Rnd 1 may start with 38 sts, but the second half of that rnd is worked into the bottom of those 38 sts - for a total of 76 sts made. However, the project is still only 38 stitches in circumference. A video tutorial will be added 1-13-23.
Velvet Mobius Ear Warmer Instructions
Rnd 1: Fhdc 38(43, 47, 52, 54, 57), flip beg of row over, hdc in bottom of first st, hdc in bottom of each rem st around, flip beg of row back up to join to to of first st. (76(86, 94, 104, 108, 114) sts)
Rnd 2: Ch 1, flo hdc in first st, blo hdc in next st, *flo hdc in next st, blo hdc in next st; rep from * around, join,
Rnd 3: Ch 1, fpdc around first st, bpdc around next st, *fpdc around next st, bpdc around next st; rep from * around, join. For Baby, Toddler, and Child, break yarn and finish off.
Rnd 4 (Teen, Woman, and Man Size Only): Rep Rnd 3; break yarn and finish off.
