Introducing a Stunning Stitch Up! - Join Moogly in October 2019

Announcing the first-ever Stunning String Stitch Up! I'm so excited to invite you to come and spend the weekend of I Love Yarn Day with me in October - in DeKalb/Sycamore, Illinois!

It's always exciting when a new Local Yarn Store opens up, and I'm very lucky to have had a new one open just a couple hours away from me - Stunning String Studio!

I had a lot of fun at their recent grand opening, and while I was there, we came up with a fantastic event I'm so excited to share with you today - the Stunning String Stitch Up! And it just so happens to be the same weekend as I l Love Yarn Day - how fun is that?!

The amazing Michele Costa, the organizer of the unique and fabulous Stitch Up events, is the brains behind this one as well - so you know it's going to be amazing! Here are just some of the facts:

WHAT ARE THE DATES OF THE STUNNING STITCH UP? WHAT TIME?

The Stunning Stitch Up runs over two days: Friday, October 11th & Saturday, October 12th, 2019. The Stunning Stitch Up begins Friday at 6pm and ends Saturday at 5pm. The Friday pre-game Yarn Shopping Experience is on Friday, October 11th at 3pm.

WHERE DOES STUNNING STITCH UP HAPPEN?

Stunning Stitch Up takes place in Sycamore, IL USA - the store address is 1630 Dekalb Ave. Sycamore, IL 60178. We'll be in the store, in their brand new classroom space!

ARE MEALS INCLUDED?

Yes yes yes, and yum! Your registration ticket includes dinner Friday, Light Breakfast Saturday, Snacks and Lunch Saturday! If you have special dietary needs, there's a form for that here - we want everyone to be safe, and well-fed! (Be sure to note your reservation order number and your allergies!)

IS THIS CROCHET ONLY? KNITTING ONLY?

Nope! You can choose knit or crochet kits - it's up to you! Michele and I will be there to help you with both! And guess who's designing the patterns?! I'll be creating the crochet ones, and Michele will be designing the knit ones! Here's a peek at the crochet ones!

SHOULD I BRING MY WIP?

You'll get a kit or two (depending on what you sign up for) that you can work on while there, but you can bring any projects you like to work on too! I love seeing what you're up to at home!

IS THE YARN FOR THE PROJECT(s) INCLUDED?

YES! Your registration ticket INCLUDES yarn and all materials for the event workshops and activities!

WHAT IF I'M PICKY ABOUT COLOR?

When you register, you will be able to select from these event color sets. And within each color set, you will be able to select if you want the Plump DK OR Twinkle DK !
