Star Light Star Bright: Guest Pattern from MadMadMe!

    Published: Dec 3, 2013 · Modified: Jun 28, 2018 by Tamara Kelly · 20 Comments

Charissa of Mad Mad Me contacted me a little while ago about doing a guest post, and having seen her fantastic crochet patterns I had to say yes! This talented lady is part of the Design Wars team and has great color sense and photos. When she  told me she was designing a free crochet pattern specifically for the guest post, I was incredibly honored! And now I'm happy to share Star Light Star Bright with all of you! - Tamara

Star Light Star Bright: Guest #Crochet Pattern by MadMadMe on Moogly!

There are two reasons why I decided to make a star for this post. Firstly, 'tis the season!! Secondly, I feel like a star being able to share with you all here on Moogly! My name is Charissa and my alias in Madlandia is MadMadme. You can find my tiny corner of the internet at MadMadme and you can find tons of handpicked handmakers at MadMadMakers. These two sites are where I spend my time sharing and promoting all things handmade and homemade. Long live the Handmade Revolution!

Motifs are my thing. I find them lovely, easy, fast, and very satisfying to crochet. I picture myself on a park bench when I'm 80 making them and passing them out to strangers as they walk by. I hope that you will enjoy this simple star this season and for many seasons to come. If you want to share your creations, please visit me on Facebook at MadGringa. I love to be inspired and share the work of others.

Thank you for this chance to share a tutorial with you. I hope you find many used for it. I plan on making ornaments, garland and some gift wrap decos with it myself. And I have about 30 more yarns to test this with as well. Oh the creative life!

Thank you for such an easy but very effective Star pattern-I love that you have managed to keep it on one page, rather than run to many pages like so many other pattern designers have.
This is so much easier for printing it out or saving to e-book.
And teaming up with Moogly-great combo Keep up the great work xox 🙂

I clicked on the pdf file to download and print this pattern, but it shows it as 1 page, so when I printed it, it only gave me 1/2 of the pdf file. It cuts off after the second page row of smaller pictures. Am I the only one that had this problem? Any suggestions how to make this pdf file show up as 2 pages so I can print the second half, or just get the pattern with instructions and not all the pictures, which I don't really need anyway? Love the star!

Hi Annie! I'm sorry you're having trouble - it works okay for me. I'm not sure why it isn't loading all the way for you! All I can suggest is checking your PDF reader and printer settings.

I think I just had a flash of a project run through my head when I saw these again on my Pinterest board - these would make a fun little curtain when stitched together! So cute!!!
