This chubby and adorable avocado is made in two pieces that are then crocheted together. The arms and legs are made separately and then sewn on. While the construction is a little different from the rest of the fruits in this chapter, don’t feel intimidated. This is still a rather quick make and you will have a lot of fun! You may not be able to put this avocado on toast, but it’s so cute, so why would you even want to?

The count is wrong from row 5 on in the beginning. Round 5 should be 25 stitches 3+2= 5. 5*5 is 25 not 30. You may want to correct it….

You are correct, but unfortunately, it's not my pattern - it's a book excerpt. I will definitely let the publisher know though!
