We have struggled since 2000. My Mom and Aunt provide me with their leftover yarns. It would be nice to get new and whole stuff if I would win. I love, love, love Susan Bates Crochet hooks; I prefer the old ones to the new ones that they reconstructed the hooks. I have never tried those new yarns that Red Heart has put out to make scarfs with. It would be a challenge for me. If I do not stay busy crocheting, I get depressed. Crocheting helps me stay relaxed from our circumstances that we have no control over. I have tried the Love yarn and love the way it feels in my hands, nice! I have not seen the Crochet Today magazines. I took Crochet World for two years, I am now trying Crochet. Unless things are free I can not get it. I strife on $129 a month. When I hear others can not live off that I wonder why. Our garden helps us too. We use to have chickens for our eggs but we have chicken snakes that got them. Sometimes we had more eggs than we could use and not everyone likes Brown eggs. I can not tell the difference between them. They bake up the same. Well, if I win--I will be grateful, but I never win.
