On your blocking video you mentioned that you blocked the outside of this rug.
Did you steam it or use the spray bottle method? What side of the rug did you block? (get wet)
Thanks
Tamara Kelly
Hi Stephanie! I just sprayed the very last round with water from the spray bottle, as it lay on the ground - then I let it air dry in place! 🙂

Hello, I'm making the rug and it is coming out like a cupcake and not laying flat. What am I doing wrong or what do I need to do different?? Please Help!!
Tamara Kelly
Hi Jennifer! Oh dear! I would try changing the distance between stitches - I'm betting you need to get the poms a little bit closer to each other. 🙂

Hi! I love this tutorial and plan on making one of my own- but I was wondering if you have any thoughts on making a rectangle shape rug. Would you start in the middle and work out just like the circle one you did or would you just start on one edge and work in rows somehow? Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
Tamara Kelly
Thank you! I have given it some thought for sure! I think I would work back and forth in rows for a rectangle, as that would give a lot more control over the finished size. 🙂

I love this idea! Not just because it's non-slip, but because the pad provides a structure to build on. I tried just working with the yarn last night and the poms kept getting in the way! This method makes it much easier to see your actual stitches.

Thank you so much! ♥
