I love Patons Kroy Sock yarn for socks! I have a pattern I make, toe up, two at a time on circular needles. This way the pair matches exactly, and I can use every bit of yarn on the skein. I keep a little book with the exact number of stitches and rows to make the right size for each of my family members and friends, and for myself, too! Knitting is so calming, and handmade socks are a gift from the heart.

I have knitted several pairs of socks with Kroy. Like other Patons yarns, it always gives satisfaction and wears well. My favorite pair I've knit was "Celtic Triad" from the Knitty mag, and by the way, I wear them a lot and they are holding up. I'd tell the people who are saying that, with trepidation, they are getting ready to try to knit socks-go for it! The Kroy yarn will make the simplest pattern look and feel wonderful, and once you have experienced the joy of turning a heel, you will never look back!
