Ok, so here in the Midwest US, this is maybe not the best time of year to debut an infinity scarf. But while wearing might not happen this week - making it can!
Disclaimer: This post includes affiliate links. In fact, this is a great time of year to make infinity scarves - they are relatively small, and they stow away easily, and they wait patiently til winter or gift giving time!
The Melting Snow Infinity Scarf originally appeared in I Like Crochet Magazine - and now it's available for purchase all on it's own! I wore the original to Craftsy:

This pattern is worked as a straight scarf, then the ends are sewn together to make it an infinity scarf - or you can leave it open ended, it's up to you! Just one skein of yarn is all you need to make

this lovely pattern. Click the links below to see more!

I love the color of the scarf! What color and brand is it?
Tamara Kelly says
Thank you! It's Lion Brand Heartland in Glacier Bay. 🙂

I purchased on Craftsy, thanks I'm a visual learner, is there a picture showing it flat, the only picture in the pattern shows it bunched up. With words and a diagram or picture, I do much better.
I am currently making the artfully simple scarf. thanks for all you do!
Tamara Kelly says
Thank you so much Diane! I'll try to add one! 🙂

I think I figured it out - in what I'm calling the chain row I was unsure where to put the SC's . It looks good so I'm going with it.
Thanks for everything!

😀 I always say, if you like it, then you're doing it right!

Hi Diane! I wanted to let you know that the pattern on Craftsy (and Ravelry!) has been updated to include a crochet symbol chart. Thanks so much! 🙂

You mention that updates are available on Ravlery and Craftsy for the Melting Snow Infinity Scarf. I've already bought the pattern. Do I have to buy it again to get the updates?
Tamara Kelly says
Thank you! No, any updates are included. 🙂
Diane says
Not sure I understand the second row. Are you sc in the chain the row below where your working. It has a pull up effect ? Please advise if this is correct! Thank you for your time .
Tamara Kelly says
Hi Diane! Not in the chain, but in the "space" between the wide Vs - even though there's no chain. 🙂

Hi Tamara, I just purchased your pattern (it's beautiful!) but I'm stuck on row 2. I'm a visual learner so I'm wondering if you have a youtube video on this scarf.
Tamara Kelly says
Hi Maggie! I don't have a video, but I do have a chart! If it would help, please email me at tkelly75@gmail.com! 🙂
