I recently got to try out the new Lion Brand Yarn Fast-Track - and even used it to design a free crochet pattern! Well, now you can get the yarn for free to go with the pattern - in this Lion Brand Fast-Track Giveaway!
Fast-Track is a brand new yarn, and its shape is quite unique! It reminds me a little bit of shoelaces - wide and flat. There's a fair bit of stretch to it, though! It's a super-bulky yarn made of a 60% cotton and 40% polyester blend - surprisingly soft and strong. I used it to design the Bouncing Basket, which is a free crochet pattern here on Moogly:
I used 1 skein each of 3 colors to make the basket... so we're giving away 3 skeins to the lucky winner! I went with Airstream White, Dune Buggy Denim, and Chopper Grey, but there are lots of colors to choose from - 12 in all! And they all have fantastic vehicle inspired names, like Taxi Cab Yellow and Jet Black (okay, that one just worked out super well)!

I have never worked with yarn of this type, I would love to win and see how well it holds up to a rug for my bedside, I need something a little warmer under my feet at night. plus it will be something new for me to play with. Maybe this is what I need to create my own pattern. Awesome.
