The Knitter's Journal is a fantastic new offering from Jane's Knitting Kits, and it's full of useful information, organizational tools, and more! It starts with an elastic strap to hold it closed (seen above), and a spiral binding (seen below) - thoughtful features that add so much functionality!
And what's inside? There are several great sections ready and waiting for you. In the first section, Resources & References, you'll find the standard graphing symbols, standard knitting abbreviations, yarn fibers and weights, standard body measurements for children, women and men, and more!
Some of my favorites include the estimates of yarn requirements for different projects, a place to list your favorite yarn sources and knitting books, and a place to track all your important knitting events, holidays and birthdays throughout the year!
The next section is Projects & Planning, and this is great for those who design, and those who just enjoy knitting others' patterns! There's a needle inventory, lots of pages of graph paper for designing and taking notes, and pages with pockets for your swatches with spaces for taking notes on them.
You'll also find these great pages for tracking your yarn stash! Nice and laminated and strong, so no worries about it falling apart!
