Inspired Shawls by Laura Zukaite Giveaway

Published: Apr 9, 2018 by Tamara Kelly · 47 Comments

Inspired Shawls: 15 Creative Patterns for Year-Round Knitting is a lovely new knit pattern book has me absolutely drooling! Today I get to show off what you'll find inside, and give away a copy to one lucky Moogly reader, courtesy of Dover Publications - and share a nifty discount code too!

Inspired Shawls - giveaway on Moogly! Giveaway open to USA and Canada addresses and ends 4/23/18 at 12:15 am Central US timeDisclaimer: This giveaway was sponsored by Dover Publications, but all opinions are my own.

Inspired Shawls by Laura Zukaite is one of the most exciting knit shawl pattern books I've seen to date. So. much. gorgeousness.

Inspired Shawls - review on Moogly!

Normally when opening a pattern book, you're lucky to find 5 or so projects that you want to make - 1 or 2 for yourself, maybe a couple for gifts. Out of the 15 patterns in Inspired Shawls, I found 10 I wanted to start right away - and all of them are gorgeous!

Inspired Shawls - review on Moogly!

Inspired Shawls patterns include written instructions, schematics, measurements, and lots of great clear photos. Many of the patterns also include knitting charts and even color charts when applicable.

Inspired Shawls - peek inside on Moogly!

I wouldn't say this is a book for beginners. There are a lot of special stitches, techniques, and colorwork here, and not a lot of handholding - no basic stitches or even advanced technique tutorials (though of course the special stitches are defined). So if you are an intermediate+ level knitter - or ready to expand your skills! - then this is a gorgeous book to add to your collection.

And as I mentioned above - I've got a great discount for you! Just CLICK HERE to save 25% on ALL Knitting, Crochet, and Craft Books on Dover, including Inspired Shawls!

Get 25% off on Dover Books!

And be sure to enter the giveaway for Inspired Shawls below! TWO winners will each receive a copy of Inspired Shawls courtesy of (and mailed by) Dover Publications. So tell a friend!

The Inspired Shawls Giveaway on Moogly is open to USA and Canada addresses and ends 4/23/18 at 12:15 am Central US time. If you are on mobile and have difficulty entering, please use a desktop computer to enter. Only the email and blog commenting options are mandatory – all other tasks are optional, for bonus entries only. Good luck, all!

I have, I am sure, at least browsed through a Dover publication somewhere along the line! I recognize some of the covers. I'd love to try this one: "Miniature Crocheting and Knitting for Dollhouses".

I have loved and appreciated Dover Books for, well, decades now. I believe my first purchase was of Celtic knotwork. but there were doll patterns and old cookbooks in there, too. They cover *so* much, I am at a loss to think of anything they need more of, you know? I just hope Dover can keep on being the valuable resource they have always been.
