Live Lint Free with the Gleener On The Go Giveaway!

Gleener makes lots of fun products, and one of their new ones is the Gleener on the Go! I got to take one home from a conference this year to try out, and I really like it - and I get to give one away now too!

So I was excited to get a chance to try the Gleener on the Go myself! When I travel, I try to always take some crochet to wear. And eventually, those items need a little help. This is the tool I'll now travel with!

Here is what you get, when you get a Gleener on the Go: the tool itself, with 3 interchangeable edges, a short but informative instruction booklet, and a nifty little carrying bag!

While the bag might seem unnecessary, the instructions have great info on when to use which blade, so I've very glad for the bag that keeps them together. At the top of the instructions, there is a list of the 3 edges included with the Gleener on the Go, with instructions on which fabrics to use with which blade.

But first, you have to flip it over! On the back side, you'll find the velvet lint brush - the perfect finishing touch after some intense lint removal. And there's a little arrow button...

Which, when pressed up, opens up the whole Gleener on the Go case! This is where you'll find the other 2 edges, and how you switch them out. There's also a handy little chart in the lid, to help you remember which one to use - particularly great for those who don't like to hold onto instructions!

So, I gave it a try on a very old but very beloved sweater that is a fine knit. Turns out, photographing lint removal is not so easy! But I hope you can see the difference here - lint removed on the right, lint untouched on the left.

All those little pills are gone! And the fabric left behind is so soft and smooth, it looks like new. The only problem is, now I want to do the whole sweater! I will definitely be taking this with me for touchups when I travel - the size is just perfect, and it did a great job!
