It's not something I've ever really thought about before, but I suppose I'd have to go with either size I or J. I use sizes D, E, F, and G quite a bit more than the other sizes, it seems, but that's due to the patterns and yarn weights I use. The smaller sizes are more difficult to handle (no pun intended), so I prefer the larger ones. 🙂

I haven't tried a Fuels hook yet but I do know that a hook can make all the difference in a project. I planned on making several of your Pampering Massage Back Scrubbers as additional gifts for Christmas last year when I could not get the hook I was using to pull through the 9 loops of the cluster stitch. I was ready to give up thinking it was an impossible stitch when I decided to use a different brand of hook. What a difference! That hook just glided through all those loops.
Now I would like to try this hook to see if it would put less stress on my carpal tunnel problems along with making crocheting more of a breeze.

My favorite hook size always used to be an F. However, as I've gotten older, and since I've had reconstructive surgery on my hand and can barely even hold any crochet hooks, I've grown very fond of the J Hook. The J Hook has become my new "go to" hook for the few things I can crochet, only because it's nice and big and the projects go very quickly. Since my surgery, I am continually having issues with one type or another of tendonitis so I can only crochet for a short period of time, or like now...not at all. The J Hook helps me get through a project that would take me months with an F Hook in just a few days with a J Hook.
