Darn Good Yarn - and So Much More!

Darn Good Yarn has been around since 2008, a woman-owned and family-operated business focused on fair trade and recycled materials. "Around the world, Darn Good Yarn employs people who have been marginalized or mistreated by society. With our co-ops, these artisans can find sustainable, safe, fair, and year-round employment to support themselves and their families."

While they do sell gorgeous Sari Skirts, clothes, and accessories, they do primarily sell yarn! And they have lots of yarns to choose from!

And that includes the Yarn-a-Melon – DIY Crochet or Knit Kits! I snagged two of these kits when I taught for the Crochet Guild of America at their retreat this past summer, and I've been waiting for the perfect time to share them with all of you!

Inside each kit you'll find:

Both knit and crochet patterns, all the yarn necessary to complete the project, stuffing, and a darning needle.
It also includes a set of 4 (3mm) double pointed knitting needles & a C/2 (3mm) crochet hook
Enough to make 2 delicious slices!
