Dishcloths to Crochet by Pat Olski Giveaway

Published: May 14, 2018 by Tamara Kelly · 56 Comments

Dishcloths to Crochet: Fun Designs to Brighten Your Kitchen! is a fun book of - you guessed it - crocheted dishcloths! Ranging from the whimsical to the elegant, I get to show off what you'll find inside this book, and give away a copy to two lucky Moogly readers, courtesy of Dover Publications - and hey, there's a discount code too!

Dishcloths to Crochet Giveaway on Moogly! Open to US and Canada, ends 5/29/18 at 12:15 am Central US time. Sponsored by Dover Publications Disclaimer: This giveaway was sponsored by Dover Publications, but all opinions are my own.

Dishcloths to Crochet by Pat Olski includes 25 unique patterns, using everything from crochet thread to kitchen cotton. And there's quite a variety!

Dishcloths to Crochet Table of Contents and Info

Some of the dishcloths are quite pretty - and some are quite silly - and it's hard to pick a favorite! I love the gorgeous floral cloths, while the Crafty Crab and the Leggy Lobster are right on the nautical trend that's so in this summer.

Dishcloths to Crochet Flower Dishcloth and Pineapple Dishcloth Dishcloths to Crochet Crab and Lobster Dishcloths

Dishcloths to Crochet patterns include written instructions and fantastic closeup photos. The patterns are clearly written, and there are some that are great for beginners, as well as a few to keep the more experienced crocheters entertained!

Dishcloths to Crochet Animal and Fruit Dishcloths

Dishcloths to Crochet won't teach you how to crochet, but it will expand your skills if you're a beginner - and you'll end up with some great cloths to use and gift! There aren't any stitch tutorial pages, but the stitches used are all pretty standard and defined when necessary. This book is great to have on hand for any time you want to make a small project - aka, perfect for summer!

Well my goodness. I took a look at the Dover site and I'm very impressed with the range of needle craft books they offer. I the vintage look, so tatting books really piqued my interest. I used to tat years ago and then life with kids happened. I would love to pick it up again. I haven't used any of their books before so I'm eager to give them a try. Thanks so much for this contest

I LOVE the owl design in the dishcloths. I've never used Dover books before, but I'm intrigued by how many of them seem to be reprints of older pattern books, particularly ones like the filet crochet where the designs don't really go out of style but the more detailed heirloom pieces might be harder to find patterns for today. Mrs. F.W. Kettelle's Filet Crochet: Projects and Charted Designs especially seems interesting to me. I've never done filet crochet, but I'd like to learn.
