What's In Store for Crochet Foundry Magazine?
Crochet Foundry Magazine has been a home for lovely, upscale, size-inclusive crochet designs since 2020. And now it has been purchased by Jessie Rayot, who you might know from Jessie at Home! She is a dear friend, a trusted colleague, and one of the most all-around multi-talented crafters that I know. She's got big plans for Crochet Foundry Magazine, and let us in on a few tasty bits of insider info!

"We are super excited that we will be adding a members-only area for those who purchase an auto-renewing subscription, which can be renewed monthly or annually. You can cancel at any time, and we will email you a week before each renewal. The member area will have exclusives such as:
- additional interviews
- tutorials
- free bonus patterns
- education
- and more!

We are also looking forward to having Live Zoom meetings on Wednesdays, starting in March. All the details will be shared in our Newsletter and in our Facebook Group

FB Group: https://www.facebook.

Crochet Foundry Magazine sources its patterns and articles from crochet designers around the world - and getting published in it is a great opportunity! So I asked Jessie if she had a message for aspiring designers?
She said, "Don't be discouraged if you submit a design to a magazine and it doesn't get picked. Some really beautiful designs may not fit the theme as well as others, there are almost always way more amazing designs than there is room for or budget to pay for, and there are many other reasons why a great design doesn't get picked. Keep on going!"
Amazing! Thank you Jessie!

Men's patterns. Old complaint, I know, but Menswear is under-represented in many crafts, including crochet and knitting. Now, anybody can wear anything they want, and I'm totally down with that. But count the number of garment, not accessory, patterns presented as "Mens" in a year of most magazines, and they will probably not average one a month. I'm all for removing gender from Fashion, but we ain't there yet, and until we are, some more "masculine" patterns would be welcome. Keep in mind that this is coming from a guy named KItten.
