There are still two and a half weeks until Christmas – that’s three weekends. There’s time, you’ve got this handcrafted Christmas under control! And this post will help you keep the budget under control too – save money at the big box craft stores this weekend using this roundup of sales, coupons, and deals. It’s been a quiet week for coupons (the stores know it’s now or never), but there are still deals to be had, and hopefully more on the way!
Many of these sales only last through the weekend, so be sure to click on the name of the store for current prices if you’re shopping next week!
On the site, enter your zip code to get the coupons for the store closest to you. This week I got a coupon for 40% off any regularly priced item – be sure to check back on Monday, hopefully there will be more then. If you picked up the Holiday Gift Guide booklet a couple weeks ago there are 40% off one item and 20% off your entire regular purchase coupons in there that are good for the next two weeks. Michaels has a mobile app with coupons as well, so be sure to download that if you can. Sign up for the email newsletter, and Like Michaels on Facebook for more coupon opportunities.
All the Christmas yarns are still on sale for $1.99, but there is very little left in most stores so act fast on those! Loops and Threads Impeccable, Impeccable Big, Snuggly Wuggly, and Charisma, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, Caron Simply Soft, Vanna’s Choice and Baby, One Pound, Pound of Love, Patons Classic Wool, Sugar’n Cream, and all Ruffle yarns are all on sale through Saturday.
No flyer for me yet this week, but the last flyer I received has coupons for 40% and 50% off one regularly priced item that are good all the way through December 24. There is also a Surprise Savings coupon for 10-20% off your total purchase, good for the weekend of December 7-9 only. Coupon Commotion is coming up December 14-20, and those coupons are in the center of that flyer – including five 50% off coupons for any regular-priced item! There are usually flyers inside the front door of the store, so always check the basket on your way in – mine’s been empty lately, but it doesn’t hurt to look.
They have the usual printable coupon for 40% off any regularly priced item. There are an iPhone app and a new Android app that include the same 40% off coupon and ad info, and also have a feature that let you check gift card balances. You can now get the same savings on your non-Apple/Android smart phones by visiting m.hobbylobby.comand showing the cashier the coupon on your phone.
Craftsy currently ships to the USA and Canada only, but they should have International shipping options very soon! I’ll be watching this closely!
Currently at Craftsy they are offering up to 75% off on yarn – including some gorgeous stuff you won’t find in the big box stores, like Cascade, Rowan, and Skacel! This is a great way to try those yarns you can’t get without a local yarn store. There are too many to list, so click here and then go to the Shop to check them out!
