Crafty Coupon Roundup: Save Money on Yarn and Supplies! 10/25/12

Plan ahead and you can save money on yarn online and in person – something we’re all interested in these days. Here, for your frugal pleasure, are the coupons and sales available this weekend, to help you save money on yarn (and hooks, and needles, and all your other hobbies)!

1. Michaels - Enter your zip code to get the coupons for the store closest to you. This week I got coupons for 40% off any one regularly priced item, $5 off $25, 50% off any one item, and 25% off entire purchase. Red Heart Super Saver, Red Heart Shimmer, Vanna's Choice, Vanna's Glamour, Vanna's Choice Baby, Caron Simply Soft, Patons Kroy, Patons Classic Wool, Fun Fur, Homespun, Wool-Ease Thick & Quick, Amazing, a variety of Christmas yarns, and several Loops and Threads yarns are on sale this week. 2. Jo-Ann Fabrics –  I don't think I got a flyer this week! There are usually flyers inside the front door of the store, so always check the basket on your way in. Via email I got coupons for 40% off any one item and free shipping with a $35 purchase with coupon code PDJ301. To get another Jo-Ann coupon, go to joann.com, at the bottom of the page under Shop, click on Store locator. Enter your zip code (if it doesn’t already show your nearest store). When you get the results, click on “More Store Information” and a link to a coupon will pop up. Sales going on now still include over 80 kinds of yarn – too many to list, but Lion Brand, Bernat, Red Heart, and Debroah Norville are all well represented! On the website there are coupons for 40% off any regularly priced item and free shipping with a $35 minimum. 3. Hobby Lobby – Baby Bee Baby Yarns, Vanna's Choice, and Plastic Canvas is on sale - great for purse shaping! They have the usual printable coupon for 40% off any regularly priced item. There’s an iPhone app that includes the same 40% off coupon and ad info, and also has a feature that lets you check gift card balances. You can now get the same savings on your non-Apple smart phones by visiting m.hobbylobby.com and showing the cashier the coupon on your phone.
4. Herrschners – This is the choice for international shipping! Huge sales this week, including Bernat Satin, Bernat Baby Coordinates, TLC Baby, TLC Essentials, Red Heart Luster Sheen, Red Heart Big Ball Baby Blankie, Lion Brand Jamie, Bernat Really Big Yarn, Bernat Twist and Twirl, Bernat Roving, and lots more! 5. ACMoore – Enter your zip code to get the coupons for the store closest to you. This week I got coupons for 50% off  and 40% off one regularly priced item.
