Contemporary Crochet is divided into four sections - Stylish Separates, Statement Outfits, Unique Accessories, and Techniques. The first three are, of course, where you'll find all the patterns - and they are certainly designed with a specific point of view!

There are lots of oversize sweaters, but there are also a surprising number of designs for men! And lots of designs that I probably wouldn't wear at my age - but are absolutely perfect for my 20-something daughter.

This isn't to say I wouldn't rock some of these myself! One pattern that really caught my eye is the Georgia Belt Bag - I saw a leather version just recently and thought it would make a great design... and Liv did it!

Small But Mighty

The shortest section of the book is the Techniques, but there is good info there - and the index is handy too!
