Quick Beading Needles - Great for Crochet, Knitting and Crafts!

Beading is a great touch to add to knit and crochet items, as well as sewn projects. Think of all those beautiful crochet rope jewelry pieces!

While you can add larger beads one at a time with a crochet hook, smaller beads usually need to be pre-strung on a thread. But actually stringing all those beads... well, there's a reason not everyone gives it a go.

But Clover has come up with a tool that makes stringing beads super fast and easy - all you have to do is stab stab stab!

    How the Swift Bead Works

The Clover Swift Bead Quick Beading Needles are 3 inches long, and suitable for beads between the sizes of 15/0 and 11/0. Beads get smaller the bigger the number, and these are some small ones. Here are some size 15/0 beads, in my hand for scale.

150 beads - hand for scale!

Each needle has a large, easy to thread eye - love that!

The pointed end isn't too pointy - no worry about sticking yourself. But it has a bend in it - creating a little hook!

When you stick the Swift Bead needle into the container of beads, the pointy end goes right through the center of beads in its path.

And then when you lift it out they get caught on the hook!

The whole needle is quite bendy, and the eye collapses easily - so you can just slide the beads back onto the thread, and go again til you have however many you need!

And here's a video from Clover's Tool School  - I've pre-set it to where the action starts!

Where to Buy a Clover Swift Bead

With the Clover Swift Bead, I can see myself doing a lot more beadwork! There are so many fun ways to add beads to your yarn, and of course, this will be great for embroidery or sewing projects too. You can purchase the Clover Swift Bead directly from Clover USA!
