What is a Dome Threaded Needle Case?
The Clover Dome Threaded Needle Case is a unique container for threaded needles, in which the threads are wound in a reel. You can store up to 10 threaded needles inside!
Having 10 pre-threaded needles is such a great idea for a bunch of different projects and situations! You can sit for a minute with the Clover Desk Needle Threader, get all your needles loaded up in inserted in the Needle Case, and then you're all set for hours worth of sewing!
With a loaded Needle Case, you can move from room to room with your project - and someday, take it on the go with you too! And if you travel, it is a great addition to your emergency kit - load several different colors so you're always prepared for on the go repairs!
How to Use the Dome Threaded Needle Case
I'll be using the Dome Threaded Needle Case to keep a bunch of needles ready for batch sewing of buttons. From octopi to ear savers to that button that came off my favorite shirt, I love doing all the threading at once and then being ready to go! Here's how to set up and use the Clover Dome Threaded Needle Case!
Insert the threaded needle into the groove on the reel.
Gently hold thread in slot and rotate the reel to wind the thread.
To withdraw the needle, hold needle and thread together and pull slowly!
Helpful Tips and Cautions!
- Only needles 2" (51.5 mm) or shorter can be stored
- The length of the thread on the stored needles should not exceed 35" (80 cm) in length
- Never store a thread tied with a knot
- Recommended to store needles in order 1-10 and remove needles in reverse order 10-1

I'm assuming this would work for cross stitch embroidery thread, too...

Yes, absolutely! ♥

Wow, could really use this - lost half my thumb to cancer and it makes it really hard to thread needles - it's my right thumb and I'm right handed. Will have to check this out next time I'm buying supplies. Thanks for the review.

Thank you for the thorough explanation. I have wondered how it works. So, if it recommends removing #10 first & then #9 eyc., how can it be used fir different colors od embroidery thread it #6 is needed, then #8, then #3, etc.?
Tamara Kelly
Hi Barbara! You'd have to plan what order you want to use your colors in. 🙂 You can pull from the middle, but might need to rewind a couple.
