Clover Antique Yarn Threader Review and Giveaway

Published: Jan 4, 2021 by Tamara Kelly · 15 Comments

Have you ever struggled to get your yarn end threaded on the yarn needle? The Clover Antique Yarn Threader will save the day every time! See how it works, and enter to win your own Yarn Threader on Moogly!

Clover Antique Yarn Threader Giveaway on MooglyDisclaimer: This post includes affiliate links; giveaway sponsored by Clover USA.

    What's is a Yarn Threader?

You're not threading the yarn - it's a tool to thread your yarn needles! While Clover has an amazing needle threader for actual sewing threads, this tool is just for yarn and yarn needles. It's super easy to use - and it looks and feels good too.

    Clover Antique Yarn Threaders

The Clover Antique Yarn Threader has a good weight to it! The outer, embossed bit is made of zinc - and even prettier up close. The "wire" is a strong but flexible bit of stainless steel - so no worries about rust spots on your yarn.

How to Use the Clover Antique Yarn Threader

The best thing about this Yarn Threader is that it takes all the struggle out of threading yarn needles, no matter how fuzzy or splitty the yarn. Only the very thickest Jumbo yarns won't fit through the hole in the wire, and the wire itself fits in my smallest yarn needles!

Clover Antique Yarn Threader Visual Instructions

To use the Clover Antique Yarn Threader, you simply insert the wire of the threader into the eye of the yarn needle, insert the yarn into the hole in the wire, and then pull it back through the needle. Voila!

You do have to pay a bit of attention as you fold it back up after use, but I can assure you it has earned a permanent place in my notions bag!

Definitely need one of these now that I’m working on the computer more. I’ve been working from home since March 2020 so those needle threadings are getting harder! Thanks for bringing this to our attention instead of those generic threaders sold.

This item would be fantastic. When in junior high school (close to 50 years ago) my teacher gave me one as I had great difficulty threading the needle. It brings back some good memories and a teacher with lots of patience. It would be a treasure in my small sewing basket.

Finally a threader for us yarn crafters. Love the antique finish, will aid my “antique eyes” . Will match-my pair of sentimental stork scissors. Thank you for creating such a useful to all product.
