Classic Crochet Shawls is a new book from Interweave crochet - and it lives up to the name. These patterns are classics that make this book a must have!

In Classic Crochet Shawls, the Interweave editors "dug into the Interweave archive and carefully selected 20 of (their) most-loved crochet shawls" - by some amazing designers! Some of the standout names include Kathryn White, Mary Jane Hall, Kristin Omdahl, Brenda K.B. Anderson, Jill Wright, Karen Whooley, and April Garwood - three of whom I've been lucky enough to meet in person.
The patterns include both written instructions and charts, so they are easy to follow, and the projects are gorgeous!
With a variety of designers, you get a great selection of styles of shawls to choose from - from big and ultra lacey, to modern filet, to heavily textured pieces.
Some are perfect for a formal wedding - and there are a bunch that would be perfect for every day wear too. And of course, everything can change with your yarn choices!
