This year cancer has seemed to run rampant in my area, even within my own family and friends. The yardage on these skeins are perfect for hats. I have had people tell me they never thought they would want a crocheted hat but ended up wanting several because, not only losing hair but the treatments themselves are cold. Something I did not know before. So even in the summer they were asking for hats. It gives me something to do while waiting at the weekly chemo appointments and then I love to see the smiles when I can gift them something they can really use.
