Crocheting helped keep me sane during the worst time in my life. Over the past 4yrs I was diagnosed with some serious and chronic health issues, divorced, lost my home and everything in it.
The repetitive movement, softness of the yarn and satisfaction of finishing a project made the darkest days brighter. Things are finally getting better and after a year of homelessness, my kids and I will soon be moving into a rental.
We don't have many belongings yet and this yarn would help us make them. I'd make as much as possible but I'd make sure that there was an item for each child so they have something personal and new.
I'd also show off whatever I made because I've decided to try and sell my projects to help supplement the income from disability. Technically this yarn could help start a business and make an empty house a home.

Ooooo! On my 3rd surgery of the year & I always do a crochet while recovering & stuck in bed... I would totally love to use this yarn to make an oversized purple (and maybe blue mixed) crocheted cardi for the winter to keep me cozy & warm up in the mountains!
