I teach elementary art in a Title 1 ( 50% of my students live in poverty) and my students LOVE doing fiber arts. Additionally the tactile nature of yarn is a calming, soothing experience for them. I am entering to win yarn to use with my students in their weaving projects.

Made a blanket with this, absolutely LOVE this yarn. I did try this in C2C for a scarf, was not quite as happy with the results. To me the phasing goes a little wonky with C2C. I would have added pictures, but that doesn't seem to be an option. So soft and warm! I think this is the only project I kept hugging while working on it!

Crocheting helped keep me sane during the worst time in my life. Over the past 4yrs I was diagnosed with some serious and chronic health issues, divorced, lost my home and everything in it.
The repetitive movement, softness of the yarn and satisfaction of finishing a project made the darkest days brighter. Things are finally getting better and after a year of homelessness, my kids and I will soon be moving into a rental.
We don't have many belongings yet and this yarn would help us make them. I'd make as much as possible but I'd make sure that there was an item for each child so they have something personal and new.
I'd also show off whatever I made because I've decided to try and sell my projects to help supplement the income from disability. Technically this yarn could help start a business and make an empty house a home.
Thank you for the opportunity and I wish everyone the best of luck 🤞

Ooooo! On my 3rd surgery of the year & I always do a crochet while recovering & stuck in bed... I would totally love to use this yarn to make an oversized purple (and maybe blue mixed) crocheted cardi for the winter to keep me cozy & warm up in the mountains! It would be my recovering from surgery project as I just had 1 of my knees replaced 2 days ago & need a distraction from the pain & uncomfiness! I ran outta time to get crocheting supplies before surgery this time...
