Something unusual in a stitch for a blanket. I have been waiting to see if designers come up with a different stitch for blankets with super bulky yarn that really looks fantastic.
Also, this would make a nice RUG for a bedroom or bathroom.
Question: I miss the former style of the Moogly newsletter email. Can it come back? It was easier to read and I loved the design. There was a lot at a glance and for me personally was more inviting to read.

        Hi Lorraine!
Have you been receiving the most recent ones? We changed it twice last year, and the first led to many complaints, so we changed it back a month or so later to more resemble the previous format. Unfortunately, we had to go with another email service to cut costs so we can only do one column rather than two (which is also better for those who read on mobile). All the info is there though!

I have a love hate relationship with the Bernat Blanket yarns. I love how quickly it works up and how heavy the finished projects are, and that's where the hate comes in. The bigger the project gets, the heavier it gets, the less time I can work with it.

I think I'd like to see something with open stitching (more gaps) so that the weight is decreased.

I would be curious to know how much larger an amigurumi might be versus a smaller yarn. Currently looking at making some of the little blankets with animal heads for babies and wondering how large they would turn out! Thanks!
