I tried making a hat once following a pattern. I knew it would be smaller than adult since I didn’t have the correct hook and used one size smaller. But apparently, I also miscounted some stitches somewhere. I turned out incredibly cute, but was the size best suited for an American Girl doll. I haven’t even thought of trying again. These templates would help me get past that hesitation.
