Tamara, thank you so much for the left-handed version!
Tamara Kelly
You are very welcome! I'm just glad we finally have the software to be able to make them available!
Megan
Thank you so much for showing this left-handed. Now since I made so mini mistakes I need to frog it and can start over. Again thanks Tamara, can't wait to finish.
Megan
*many mistakes. I seem to lost the ability to write today 🙂
Tamara Kelly
Mini mistakes sounds preferable to many! 😉 Sorry to hear they happened either way, but so glad to hear the video helped! 🙂
Clotilde/Craftybegonia
Just lovely! Will share

Thank you so much Clotilde!
Marrie
Hello there! I loved the scarf, tutorial and way you taught. It is amazing and surely i'll try. But before that, please tell me how much time it took to make this scarf.. ?
Tamara Kelly
Thank you Marrie! I don't really keep track by the hour, but it only took me a couple of days, working on it off and on in the evenings. 🙂
Marrie
Oh! Thanks, I am very fast at crocheting and i like to do it any time i am free... Specially before sleep & from afternoon to sunset, thank you for quick tutorial AND I hope it might only take 3 or 4 days for me!!
Connie M
I was so excited that the videos came out, thank you for doing this! But it seems that both of the videos are the left-handed version, even when I click on the YouTube site. Help?
Tamara Kelly
Hi Connie! I'm sorry, I'm not sure why you are seeing the left handed version in place of the right handed one. Maybe this link will help: https://youtu.be/3IOUrWMPkFY

I love this scarf. Needed to make a quick gift to a friend of mine and worked up 1 100gr skein in just 1 day. Had it to 15 rows or so, just as big as she wanted it.
Now I'll make some more with 2 skeins each. Great X,mas gift I think!
Tamara Kelly
😀 Thank you Simone!
Cindy Ferris
I love the pattern. Ii have completed the wrap using the video. I an trying to do the edging and can't find a video on it. I have a hard time with the instructions and your videos are amazing. Could you direct me to the video for the edging.
Thank you so much.
Cindy
Tamara Kelly
Thank you Cindy! This pattern doesn't have any edgings though.
heather
Brilliant tutorial, I'm in the middle of making this with cotton wool, love how it's coming out. Really pretty, thanks for making it so easy to do. ?
Tamara Kelly
😀 Thank you so much Heather!
Ajidulce
It's a beautiful pattern and I will definitely try it, thank you!
However, your beautiful crochet hook just is not practical. It looks too thick and cumbersome and drove me as the viewer crazy, watching how many times the loop slips off.
Tamara Kelly
Thank you, I'm glad you like it! The hook is ergonomic, and I hold it slightly different on camera to open up the view, I'm sorry to hear it bothered you.
Deb
I have one skein of Araucania Cana Ruca sugarcane viscose yarn which I am assuming?? is like fingering weight? The tag says 319 yrds. Are you familiar with this type yarn? Do you think it would work for this pattern? Do you think the one skein I have would be enough to make the scarf? Your advice would be appreciated.
Tamara Kelly
Hi Deb! According to their yarn page on Ravelry, that yarn is a Sport weight which is a big thicker. So what I would do is go up a hook size or two, and then use the long chain method to begin the pattern: https://www.mooglyblog.com/long-starting-chains-made-easy/ It's a bit less yardage, but since it's thicker yarn I think it will work out fine. 🙂
Deb
Thank you so much for responding.
Luann Bowen
Hi Deb,
I am using the yarn you recommended and a size H hook per your instructions. The gauge is small according to the guide and will not have enough yarn to make this a one skein scarf. My question is what size hook did you use?. If i went went up a couple hook sizes with this yarn would I help make this a one skein scarf?
Tamara Kelly
Hello Luann! I used an H hook when I made mine. But everyone's gauge is different, so you may need to go up a size or two!
LuAnn Bowen
Hi, One other question I meant to ask. Did you block the scarf when you were done?
Bethany
Hello! I am still relatively new to crocheting and am a little confused about the tutorial. The chain that you originally make, would that be the width of the scarf, or will that become the length of the scarf? Thank you for the help!
Tamara Kelly
Hi Bethany! That would be the length. The written pattern might make that a little more apparent: https://www.mooglyblog.com/artfully-simple-angled-scarf/ 🙂
Toni
I've been hunting for a pattern to make for my mum's birthday for days - finally settling on yours as I think it will suit my wool choice (choose the wool before the project - oops!) perfectly.
After reading some of the comments, I thought I would check the video out first, as altho I recon I can manage the pattern, I've not had much luck recently.
Found myself mesmerized by your hook and how you use it! Have never seen a hook like that before it's so oretty!
Off to start crocheting now...hoping I am right in thinking the starting chain is the length of the scarf (sizings have been a real issue for me recently!)
Tamara Kelly
Thank you Toni! Good luck - and happy birthday to your mum! ♥
