Business at moogly is coming along nicely, and I'm so grateful to all my customers! I've got more great things coming, but right now find myself waiting for yarns to arrive so I can get started! And as the new creations roll out the door, I'm going to love including my brand new business cards from moo!
So with a few days unintentionally off work I was able to make up a quick gift for my mom. She's a school teacher and keeps a water bottle on her desk (all that talking will parch even the pros), but she needed something to combat condensation. So I picked up a skein of Lily Sugar'n Cream Stripes and used one of my favorite patterns, Cabled Bottle Cover by Melanie Hoffman. Done in a day! Et voila:
But I'm still waiting for my new yarns to arrive! So as I sit here daydreaming, I come across a free pattern for a papercraft Nyan Cat Machine on Deviant Art. And I can't help thinking... how fun would this be to make in crochet?!
