It’s time for Block #6 of the Moogly Afghan CAL for 2014! If this is the first you’ve heard of the CAL, don’t worry – it lasts til November, so there’s still time to join in! Start HERE to read how it works, and then get to crocheting! For those who’ve been following along so far, read on!
Here is the CAL schedule, with links to the previous blocks (click on the date to go to that blog post):
January 8th – Anticipation Mystery Square
April 3rd and 17th
May 1st, 15th, and 29th
June 12th and 26th
July 10th and 24th
August 7th and 21st
September 4th and 18th
October 2nd, 16th, and 30th
November 13th and 25th
This pattern is another one that was initially designed to be all one color, and it’s very lovely that way. But you have GOT to check out the Ravelry Gallery (CLICK HERE)! Color can make this one pattern look like a dozen different patterns – it’s all in where you put the color changes! Once again, I used four colors on my version, seen below. I came up just a tiny bit under 12″ with the pattern as written, but working the last row in double crochet instead of half double crochet brought it up to size!
I hope you enjoy Block #6! That’s it for March – I’ll be back with the next Crochet-a-Long block on April 3rd!
