Have you ever returned to a crochet WIP (that’s work in progress!) with no recollection of what size hook you were using? If this happens to you, worry no more… I’ve found just the solution!
The WIP Hook Markers are the brainchild of Rebecca from Little Monkey’s Crochet – and they are an elegant and useful solution to an all too common set of problems we face as crocheters!
The antique-style silver alphabet charms, made from a zinc alloy metal that is lead and nickel free, add character to these dainty and helpful charms.
The WIP Hook Markers are sold on Etsy in sets of 4, so you can choose from DEFG, HIJK, or NPQS – or collect all 12! I just got my set this week – HIJK – and they are so gorgeous!
Despite a somewhat extensive hook collection, I still end up pulling hooks from my WIPS to use in other projects…. and there’s no worse feeling than returning to the first project, not being able to remember which hook I was using. Add the risk of stitches coming undone, and these WIP Hook Markers are a brilliant solution to two problems at once!
These markers are a fantastic addition to anyone’s crochet tool box, and I’m so excited to get to give away a set here on Moogly! The WIP Hook Markers giveaway is open worldwide, and one winner will get to choose which set they want – DEFG, HIJK, or NPQS. This giveaway ends 9/3/15 at 12:15am Central US time. To enter, use the Rafflecopter form below. If you are on mobile, you may need to switch to a computer. Only the email address is mandatory to enter, all other options are for bonus entries only.

I to have experienced a wip and did not know what size hook I was supposed to use. This is such a wonderful invention !! It would keep you on track so easily. I can’t wait to try one.

I love all charms and especially ones that have to do with crochet, although I suspect I could use them on a scarf l They are lovely. Thanks for sharing! Fingers Crossed!

Hubby bought me some of these and I LOVE them! they’ve already saved me from grabbing the wrong hook when I picked up a WIP to work on it. With the hook size right there on the stitch marker, no guesses!
Though I have some, I could really use more…since I have several WIPs going – and would like to keep track of all hook sizes. Never know when I’d like to pick up any one of these and work on it…so one set is just not enough!
Besides that, they are beautiful! Very high quality! I can see making earrings out of them! How cool is that!!?
