Here at Moogly (and at home!) I *love* handmade, and the whole crafty esthetic... and it's important to me to support independent artists. So when I get my holiday cards, I like to get something different - and this year I found it with the Minted Christmas Card collection!
If you're not familiar with Minted, they are so much more than just an online stationery store. They have decor, fabrics, and even an art marketplace. And the thing I love most is that the designs are from independent artists!
So picking out our family's holiday cards was even more fun - and harder than expected! There are tons of amazing designs to choose from. I'd like to think that if *I* designed cards, these would be the cards I'd design. But I don't know if I could actually make anything this perfect! I seriously love the holiday minibooks - this one is the Winter Foliage Cheer Design. It's like a card, a holiday letter, and a mini scrapbook all in one!
As I mentioned, each design is created by an independent artist - and these aren't just anonymous faces. As you browse all the great designs, you can see who designed each one, and the city they live in! The Hap-Happiest Time Card shown here was designed by Jennifer Wick of Harrisburg PA! And you can add your own touches too, through artsy shapes, and personalized wording.
So even as you order your cards online, you can support local artists. So great! And this is a talented bunch. Can you get over these amazing cards? Talk about mantle-worthy! Or heck, get one you can hang right on the tree - the Winter Wonderland Ornament card is a keeper!
It's so hard to pick out which design I'll be sending out to our friends and family this year - but I do know it'll be from Minted! Currently in the top contender is the Destination Luggage Tag card, designed by Four Wet Feet Design from Sacramento California! I love sending out a craft tag with a handmade ornament every year - this card makes it a two in one! Perfect!
Although this Calm-ish and Bright design is calling my name too.... so funny!
