Get Happy Yarn Mail with Sewrella!

    Published: Apr 12, 2017 · Modified: Mar 19, 2018 by Tamara Kelly · 8 Comments

I love connecting with other designers and bloggers, and one of my newest favorites is Sewrella. And Ashleigh at Sewrella has just launched a brand new subscription box that I think you'll love! So I'm working with her today to show you how awesome Happy Yarn Mail is - and I get to share a discount code with all of you too! (Discount code now expired)

Happy Yarn Mail - the crochet subscription box you've been waiting for!

First of all - how perfect is that name? Happy Yarn Mail! The best kind of mail! It's a monthly subscription box brought right to your door - full of an exclusive crochet pattern, the materials to make it, & freebies designed just for Happy Yarn Mail!

This subscription box service is brand new, having launched just this past month. They went out at the end of March, so I can show you what was inside without posting spoilers!

And all laid out pretty... You can see the yarn, pattern pamphlet, and some fantastic extras! Everything you need besides the hook!

And I took it over to a friend's house for craft night to get started! That night I completed the first half of the bunny, and I finished it up the following night. The Chocolate Bunny Crochet Pillow pattern was easy to make, and very well written. And fun too! The amount of yellow and pink yarn was just right, and I have plenty of brown left over to add to my stash too. All the yarn in Happy Yarn mail boxes will be Lion Brand yarn, and this one used Vanna's Choice, one of my favorites!

So now I get to sit back, sip my tea and honey out of my fab new mug, and admire by finished Chocolate Bunny - this pretty bunny will be keeping her ears!

I can't wait to see what Ashleigh comes up with for her next kit! You can get free email updates on Happy Yarn Mail kits at https://happyyarnmail.com/pages/subscribe, and more about what's coming on the Happy Yarn Mail website - https://happyyarnmail.com/

And remember, I've got a coupon code for you! Get $5 off the next Happy Yarn Mail kit - just enter MOOGLY at checkout! Thank you Ashleigh and Happy Yarn Mail! This coupon code is now expired, but do check out the links above for fun kits!

I'm still fairly new and inexperienced at crochet. Do you know if the boxes are for any skill level?

This first one was definitely Easy level, but I don't know what skill levels she has planned for future kits!

I'm brand new to crochet, I would love to find patterns that are easy to do. What do you recommend?

Hi Renee! I think a fun and easy pattern that can teach a lot is the Artfully Simple Infinity Scarf. It has a video tutorial too! But another good idea is to go to Ravelry.com and do a pattern search. You can use lots of search filters, including one that sorts by difficulty as rated by other crocheters!

Hi Ava! I'm sorry about that, I've written to Happy Yarn Mail to see if this code has been discontinued, but I recommend contacting her directly as well!
