Chameleon Crafters is a UK based duo who make super cute stitch markers, and have put together some fantastic crochet kits! And I got to review one here on Moogly!
Disclaimer: I was provide a kit for review but all opinions are my own.
Right now, they offer 6 great kits: Chameleon, Hare, Axolotl, Manatee, Narwhal, and Platypus! It was so hard picking just one to review!
After much deliberation, I decided to try out the “Luna the Hare” kit – it came in a fun bag, with everything needed to make the bunny – even the stuffing and stitch marker! It was all labeled and thoughtfully put together.
While Chameleon Crafters patterns are written in UK terms, it is super easy to make them as an American – just remember that where it says double crochet, make single crochet; when it says treble crochet, make a double crochet! Since it’s amigurumi, it’s always going to be a tight stitch. In a weekend, I had made this cutie!
Though those are safety eyes, they do note in the kit that the animals aren’t meant for children under 3 years old. But I think preschoolers as well as older kids (and adults!) will love these sweet animals!
It was a lot of fun, and I really appreciated the special touches, like the super cute included stitch marker! The instructions were easy to follow, and the end result so fun!
