Allure Fiber Wash Review and Giveaway!

Published: Jan 6, 2016 by Tamara Kelly · 2 Comments

I'm heading out soon to my first conference of 2016 - The National Needlearts Association convention in sunny San Diego, California! And I wanted to freshen up a few pieces of crochet wear before my trip. So I gave Allure Fine Fabric and Fiber Wash a try - and I've got some to give away too!

Win 2 bottles of Allure Fiber Wash on mooglyblog.com! Open worldwide, ends 1/13/16 at 12:15am CST

Allure Fine Fabric and Fiber Wash is a no-rinse wash made by Bisou Basin Ranch. They sent me 3 versions: Fragrance Free, Prairie Breeze, and Woodland Mist. The Fragrance Free is genuinely scentless, and the other two smell amazing - Woodland Mist is my favorite! But I prefer to go scent free when working, so I gave the Fragrance Free version a try.

It couldn't be easier - and the directions are right on the bottle! They read:

No need to rinse! This gentle formula does not leave any residue to attract soils and odors.

By hand: Add 2 capfuls to 1 gallon of warm water. Soak item for 10 minutes, then gently squeeze to remove water. Dry flat on a towel or as directed by manufacturer.

By machine: Add 4 capfuls to machine dispenser. Wash on gentle/delicate cycle. Works great in HD machines!

Can I just say how awesome it is that you can use this right in the washing machine! Love it! I also love that their all natural formula has no dyes, enzymes, phosphates, brighteners, or formaldehyde. Safe and gentle, and made in the USA!

Since I only had a few things to wash this round, I opted for the by hand method.  Bucket, water, add the Allure, and add the scarf... wait... squeeze and let dry! (Shown: Neptune's Arrow Scarf - free pattern!)

The result? The scarf looks like new, it's scent free, and I couldn't be happier! You can purchase Allure HERE. But I still have 2 more bottles... so it's time for a giveaway! I'm sending both the scented bottles to one winner - so they can pick their favorite too!

Hi there - Is this basically just a detergent? Or does it help soften as well?
