"You know what your paper pattern looks like at the end of your project..? It's wrinkled, folded and covered in chocolate and wine stains." How did they know?! Well, *I* know just how great their Pattern Holder Plus Storage works - so I'm working with Yarn Valet today to bring you my review and a Pattern Holder Plus Storage giveaway - with TWO winners!

So if you're anything like me, your paper patterns don't look like they did fresh out the printer. By the time I've finished the project, that pattern has been stapled, folded, rolled, wrinkled, and there's probably a coffee ring on their somewhere. Yikes!
The folks at Yarn Valet have, thankfully, let me know I'm not alone. And they have a solution! Their Pattern Holder Plus Storage holds paper patterns where they stay neat and clean - and are easy to read too! Just remove an end cap, insert your pattern into the tube (pattern facing out!), and replace the end cap. Now your pattern is easy to read, and you can just turn the tube as you work new rows - the end caps' hexagon shape won't let it roll away! Here it is in action:
The Pattern Holder is just the right size for standard printer paper (8.5" wide x 11"), so the whole page shows. But that leaves lots of space inside, which is where the "Plus Storage" comes in!
It's not huge - you're not going to stuff a whole blanket in there - but it's great for small projects. I had to run out while finishing up the next Moogly Crochet Along Square, and I was able to fit one ball of Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in there perfectly, along with the hook, my notions, and the almost-finished square - which was a finished square on the way home!
You can fit any crochet hook, lots of notions, small to medium balls of yarn, and of course a pattern in there! And of course, any knitting needles that are under 11" long, including circulars. So handy! If you like making small projects, this might just become your new "crochet kit" inside your regular bag!
The Pattern Holder Plus Storage is super lightweight, and measures 5” length, 12” height, 5” width. It's Made in America too! And they are assembled and packaged by individuals with disabilities. You can buy the Pattern Holder Plus Storage and other Yarn Valet products on Amazon US (, and from other sellers on Amazon CA, and Amazon UK. You can also read more about them at www.yarnvalet.com, and follow them on Facebook - www.facebook.com/yarnvalet/ and Instagram - @yarnvalet
I also have the yarnBowl, yarnballWinder, and yarnDispenser, and love using them all! Right now, the Pattern Holder Plus Storage and Yarn Dispenser are my two most used for sure! So I'm super excited to share this Yarn Valet Pattern Holder Plus Storage Giveaway with you all here today - and give away TWO!

What a wonderful idea! I am keeping my fingers crossed that I might be a lucky winner. Alas, I use neither facebook nor twitter, so fewer chances to win... ah well-- at least I have found out that this holder exists!
Laura
This is a brilliant idea, especially for those on the go projects.
I love the fact that you have incorporated people with disabilities in the assembly. giving them a purpose.

Hi Tamara,
This is a fantastic solution. Yarn Valet has some great products.
I would also love it if "some magnification" could be added to the clear material. My old eyes aren't what they use to be, but at least I could keep my reading glasses in the storage area. Love all of your patterns you are so talented.

Thank you so much! And I think the magnification idea is a great one!! (I need that sometimes too - so glad for my OttLites!)
