I came up with these as part of another pattern, but I think some of you might just want to make tiny coconut appliques for other items - so here's the pattern on it's own! It's written for worsted weight yarn, but you can change the size easily by changing the yarn and hook size!
Tiny Coconut Applique
Add this pattern to your Ravelry Queue
- US - G, 4.00 mm hook
- 1 yd brown worsted weight yarn (Red Heart Warm Brown shown)
- 1 yd black worsted weight yarn (Lily Sugar'n Cream in Black shown)
- Finished size: 1" wide as written
With brown yarn, make Magic Circle. Work 9 hdc in ring, break yarn and use seamless join to finish off, leaving a long tail to sew each on later. Add dots as shown by making french knots with black yarn.
And that's all there is to that! Enjoy!
