Knit Picks might have "knit" in the name, but they have plenty for crocheters - in addition to all the gorgeous yarns! They've recently launched a new book, The Well Made Home, and it's full of fantastic crochet patterns by independent designers! Let's take a peek!
The Well Made Home features 10 original crochet designs, including pillows, throws/afghans, containers, a table runner, pouf, lampshade, and more! The photos are, of course, gorgeous - and the patterns feature tons of texture and warm, inviting looks!
And I love love love the book description:
A well-made home contains many things close to the heart. Your favorite books, knick-knacks, photographs of loved ones, and for the crafter, things made with love, by hand. This collection of 10 patterns, including a giant pouf, cozy blankets, stylish pillows, a fancy lamp shade cover and practical cabled baskets, will add a sense of whimsy to your home and create an environment uniquely yours. This is a well-made home, and a place to which you'll always want to return.
How perfect is that? My personal favorite is the Diamond Links Pillow. It's gorgeous and classic and I wish I'd designed it myself! It's just perfect.
The patterns in The Well Made Home feature several gorgeous Knit Picks yarns, including Wool of the Andes Superwash (love the easy care and color selection!), Biggo (a wool blend bulky!), Lindy Chain (gorgeous linen cotton blend!), and more!
You can get your copy of The Well Made Home - click HERE to get the soft cover book or click HERE to get the ebook version! It's one I'm very pleased to have in my collection!
Another thing not to be missed is Knit Picks' 52 Weeks of Dishcloths! It's a weekly FREE program, and it's just so fun! I love crocheting and knitting dishcloths - they are quick, satisfying, always handy to have around, and they're a great way to learn new stitches, and hone your skills! They've got a great mix of both crochet and knit patterns, and it's been going for over a year now, so be sure to check that out! Their Dishie yarn is perfect for them - with an amazing color selection!
So if you haven't been to Knit Picks yet today, be sure to explore their site! The yarns are super yummy, wonderfully priced, and always a joy to work with. I've been doing so for years! In fact, I've got some Billow calling to me this week.... it's SO SOFT!!
