And here we are, ready to finish up the Winter 2015 Mini CAL here on Moogly! I hope you enjoyed making the first half of the pattern – and are ready for Part 2!
When I asked Moogly readers last year what they wanted to see in a 2015 crochet-along (aka CAL), the majority voted for a year long afghan square CAL. And it’s begun, and you can check out the latest block HERE. But a lot of readers also were interested in short-term, quicker mini CALs – so I’ve decided to do 4 quick CALs this year, one for each season!
The Stormy Weather Cowl works up super fast with Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick & Quick! It’s a pretty simple pattern, and I’ve got a video to show you just how it’s made – here’s the Stormy Weather Cowl Tutorial!
One of the hottest fall/winter trends predicted this year is big, bulky, super thick yarn – and cowls and scarves of course! Well, Lion Brand has put together a super fun idea that speaks to both of those – #scarfie!
Celestial Strings sent me a most gorgeous and special skein of yarn – beautiful subtly variegated purples in a superwash merino – and named Moogly Berry! How could I resist? Well, ok, so I didn’t even try. What I did do was turn it into a super cozy one skein mini shawlette- the Berry Harvest Bandana Cowl!
