I know many of you have been very eagerly awaiting this square… so let’s get to it! Here’s square #2 for the 2017 Moogly Crochet Along!
Log cabin blankets and quilts are both traditional and modern – it’s an old idea, that never goes out of style! Crocheted versions are wonderful, but usually require lots of color changes – and lots of ends to weave in. By using a self-striping yarn, it’s all fun and minimal fuss – introducing the Easy Log Cabin Afghan!
The last couple of weeks I’ve asked for thoughts and ideas on what to go for next year’s Crochet-a-long – and I’ve gotten so many great ones! It’s going to be super hard to choose – maybe I’ll make a poll! But back to this year’s CAL, I know a lot of you are getting eager to start joining your squares – I’ll be sharing some thoughts and ideas on that process within the next month or two. Ultimately it will be up to each individual though – so if you know what you want to do and have your layout sorted, then feel free to get joining. Now on to Block #18! And if this is the first you’ve heard of the 2014 Moogly Afghan Crochet-a-Long, then start HERE to read how it works!
I’m so glad so many of you have enjoyed this crochet-a-long – and have given me lots to ponder about what to do in 2015! I’ll definitely do another CAL of some sort – it’s just a matter of deciding what to do! If you haven’t yet, be sure to share your thoughts and ideas in the comments. Now on to Block #17!
