I'm so excited I finally get to show you the Shocking Mandala Rug! I designed it last month but it was all hush hush til today - and now it's revealed!
AllFreeCrochet sent me some Red Heart Vivid yarn to try out, and you can read my review of it. Simply put, it was super soft and a lot of fun, in bright neon colors! To give it a real workout, I designed the Shocking Mandala Rug in Electric Blue and Glowing Green - and then handed it over to my boys!
And they promptly fell in love with it. They rolled around it in, covered up with it, snuggled it on the couch... it was a hit! The bright neon colors and spiky pattern was just the right look for their playroom, and the soft yarn feels amazing underfoot - to both the boys and their mama! It's 42" across and a new bright spot in our decor!

I hope you all have a great time making the Shocking Mandala Rug! One note - the skeins I used had 50 yds each, so you'll need 500 yds total. Some of the skeins are only 39 yds, so make sure you get the appropriate yardage! And you can Add it to your Ravelry Queue too!

I would like to be able to receive the pattern but unable to do so. The first pattern I received was so light and small that I unable to read.
Thanks,

Hi Shirley! I can't reprint the pattern here (not for a few months anyway) as FaveCrafts have the rights to it. I went and looked at the comments, and it seems the pale printing is a common problem, not sure why they have it set up like that. 🙁 When I'm able to repost it here, I will, and it will include the Print Friendly button. I'm afraid that's all I can do right now though.
