I had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey at TNNA earlier this year - and her Craftsy class has just debuted! I'm so happy for her, and I couldn't wait to watch it, and tell you all about it!

Seaming gets a bad rap sometimes - there's a reason "seamless" is one of the terms you can use to sort patterns on Ravelry! And while you can go a lifetime avoiding them, there are good reasons to use them... and a whole lot more patterns you can make if you learn how!
Seams aren't just a way to join two pieces together - they lend stability to garments, keeping things shaped just so. And they aren't that hard to make either. They just require a bit of know how, and patience.
The patience must come from within, but you can get the rest from Seaming Crochet on Craftsy! Lindsey teaches not just the why, but also the how.
I love that right off the bat, Lindsey emphasizes that seams should be thoughtful. Taking your time and doing it right makes all the difference in a professional finish - and in how much you'll love your finished project!
Of course, preparation is key. Just like you can't start crocheting without yarn and hook, you need to know how to get started seaming, and have the right tools! We have the same taste in stitch markers too - Clover Lock Ring Markers all the way!
Several different methods of seaming are taught in this class - how to make them, and when it's best to use each one. Mattress stitch, whip stitch, crocheted seams are all covered, as well as the connect and weave method, decorative seams, and how to seam variegated yarn! Lindsey even teaches how to seam lace, Tunisian and Broomstick Lace. In total, there are 7 different methods, with specific variations!
Crocheting seamless items is great, but knowing how to seam your crochet opens up whole other worlds of possibilities. And knowing how to do it right will up your chances of success right off the bat!
I thought I knew seaming pretty well, but I picked up a lot of fantastic tips in this class. Lindsey is a natural teacher, and I'd recommend Seaming Crochet to any crocheter.

Thank you so much for this review. It I'll be a great addition to my crochet skills. Up till now I carefully avoided patterns that called for putting together different parts. After following this class I'm sure I can tackle anything! I signed up immediately, especially with this great sale going on!
