The Playtime Picnic Set was originally published in I Like Crochet's August 2015 issue. And now I get to share it on it's own!

Summer is on the horizon, and bright colors, picnics, and outdoor fun are coming soon - so it's the perfect time to make this three-piece baby set! The Playtime Picnic Set includes a juice bottle stuffy that rattles, a sandwich stuffy that crinkles, and a cozy playmat that doubles as a blanket when playtime is done! And best of all, you only need one skein of each color of yarn to make the entire set!
This pattern set is made extra fun with the noises it makes - the bottle jingles, and the sandwich crinkles! So you'll need a couple not-your-usual notions to make this set. A leftover plastic Easter egg, and jingle bell you might be able to snag around the house, but child safe crinkle paper is the one unique piece. I got mine from Twigs and Tweet's on Etsy - one sample size square is the perfect amount, and you can't beat the price!
Of course, if you'd like a little more peace and quiet, you can leave out the noise makers, and just crochet a soft set baby will love! The pattern is available for just $3.00 on both Ravelry and Craftsy - click the link below to shop at your favorite store!
