This looks like a perfect yarn to use on the Champagne Cables Hat. That hat was quick to crochet and would love to use this yarn to make another one with matching scarf.

I was reading your post on the 2018 CAL telling us you haven't decided what yarn you are using. You have used Vanna's in previous years and now I see this Alpaca and am thinking with the beautiful colors you may choose this yarn for the CAL. Thank you for giving us a chance to try it (& like it!!!). Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Happy that someone won the yarn, and I didn't get in on the giveaway. I have more than enough yarn to keep me busy until I'm ready to be pushin' up daisies sometime in the future - distant by 30 years or so. I am currently using Red Heart Country Christmas yarn (aged red, cream & green) while I cover a metal hanger for my minister who is the nicest person I know. I'm sure she gets annoyed now and then, but she is the best I've found and here in Muscatine, IA where I live. Surprised to see that Moogly, LLC. is also in Iowa and really not that far away, in Bettendorf. I'm sure many people have never heard of either Muscatine or Bettendorf for that matter, and I'm sure they, like those read this message if you're don't live in Muscatine, you have no idea how to pronounce it and those who give the news in far-away places - strange sounding names, etc. I will have to find some of Lion Brand's Alpaca Yarn, the next time I visit JOANN's in the Muscatine Mall. If there is ia new giveaway in the near future, I will be sure to enter it, and look forward to a long and happy relationship with Moogly, LLC.
Tamara Kelly
Hi Lisa! My brother works in Muscatine! 😀 Moogly, LLC is really just me (Tamara) and my husband (Geoff) - he does all the tech stuff that's beyond my comprehension. I would recommend checking your local Michaels for this one, better odds! 😉 Thank you so much, and I hope you're staying warm - it is COLD out there this week!!
Nadette
I don't think the drawing ends until Jan 2! You still have time to enter and win more yarn for your life expectancy!!! lol. Good Luck!
Debi

Maybe I'm looking at this wrong... You have a winner already. How is the giveaway over already? It's not even January 2nd yet.
Tamara Kelly
Hi Kristen! It's February 1st, so it's well past January 2nd I'm afraid.
Kristen Doty
Haha! Yep I was definitely looking at it wrong. I feel so dumb! 😀
