Within the written pattern, I also have a couple closeup photos - including a labeled one where the ends of the rounds join, so be sure to check that out too! And here's a Pin for your favorite crochet Pinterest board:
And here's the Chart (Please do NOT pin the chart):
As you can see, the Lavender Kisses pattern is pretty simple, but you can simplify it even more if needed - simply chain and double crochet the first round, if you prefer not to use Foundation Double Crochet stitches.
And you can easily adjust for size too! If you prefer a looser cowl, start with more stitches - any multiple of 3 will work. If you don't want so much bulk, stop repeating the rows whenever you're ready and finish off with a row of double crochet. It's perfectly customizable, and with all the pretty colorways of Unforgettable, the end result is always going to be interesting and unique!

Hello: I'm a beginner crocheter. I made this pattern as a cowl for myself and love it but was wondering if it could be adapted to make a scarf. My mom loves the pattern but doesn't like wearing cowls. Thanks for any advice.
Tamara Kelly
Hi Diana! That would involve a pretty substantial re-write, but you can add extra chains on each end and a dc on each end to finish off the rows! 🙂

Hi Tamara, I finished my Kisses cowl in light greens, rust, golds - fall colors. It finished beautifully, and I ended up giving it to my sister. She really loves it. Thank you for your demonstration - it made crocheting the cowl so much easier. Now, I'm on my second cowl w a different colorway.
