Next week I'll have some fun new posts for you... and my own brain will be filling up with maximum crochet goodness, because I'll be at the Knit and Crochet Show in Manchester, New Hampshire!
If you're not familiar with the CGOA, it stands for Crochet Guild of America, of which I am a proud member. This year marks their 20th Anniversary, and my own very first trip to the annual conference! Of course, The Knitting Guild Association will be there as well, and it will be an all around great yarny time.
I'm going to be at the CGOA Fabulous Friday Fun Night, CGOA Banquet on Saturday, and I'm taking several classes/sessions as well: CGOA Get Your Crochet Geek On; Crochet Tips, Tricks and Hints; Going Around in Circles; Color Crochet - PULAD Method; Learn Tunisian Crochet Cables; and Aran Crochet Basic Cables and Traveling Stitches.
I'll be flying out on Tuesday the 22nd, and returning to Moogly homebase on the following Sunday. It will be a whirlwind of crochet and design and CGOA happiness! And I'll try to take pics and share everything with you that I can.
And I tell you all this not just to brag, but to get you excited - because the more I learn, the more I can share and incorporate and improve on the free patterns I design here at Moogly!
PLUS... I'm hoping that some of you will be there! If we have a class together, or you spot me in the lounge, or wondering around looking lost... please come say hi! I'd love to meet some Moogly fans and make them friends. I'll answer to Tamara or Moogly, heh. And I'd love to meet up for dinner, some quiet time in the lounge, or have a drink in the evening while we decompress! I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, so I'll be looking for traveling buddies to and from the Radisson too!
One great way to stalk me will be through the free Guidebook app that's been developed for the conference - download it HERE! After you've downloaded it, just look for the Knit and Crochet Show conference and link up. I've got it downloaded on my Kindle and I'll have it with me throughout the conference. It's got all my classes and we can connect that way too!
So if you're going and want to meet up, feel free to send me an email at TamaraKelly@mooglyblog.com - I hope to see some of you there! And with any luck I'll have lots to share with those who weren't able to join us when I get back.
Thanks for reading! Get more Moogly on Facebook, Twitter,G+, Tumblr, and sign up for the free weekly email Newsletter so you don’t miss a thing! When it's time to get your crochet swag, check out the Moogly Zazzle Shop!

I'm going to the conference for the first time too. Taking the bus in from NYC on Tuesday and leaving early Sunday morning. I'm going to get your geek on, think tank, foundation stitches, design inspiration, post, baskets and ribs, dropstitch crochet, Friday fun night , CGOA banquet and the designer meet and greet. Hope to see you there. I love your patterns- I'll be carrying your Moroccan tote. 🙂

Oh darn, I was hoping the show was in the Midwest since you are near my area. If so I would've totally gone! I never seem to know of any shows around here!
Tamara Kelly
From what I understand it travels - so hopefully next year!

I live in Maine and am going to google Manchester NH and see how far from me the show is. I would love to come by and meet you and see what the show is all about. Hopefully gas to get there will be in the budget. Have a great time. I am looking forward to "hearing all about it"

I went last summer when the conference was in Indianapolis. I had the best time EVER! The classes were great and all the knitters and crocheters were so friendly and kind. You will have a fantastic time and learn so much. I'm completely jealous as I wish I could attend again this year.

I'm staying at the Hilton, too! Hopefully we'll run into each other 🙂

I don't think the show travers, pe se. There is a midwest show in the fall, I think. The summer show is usually in Manchester, NH. This is my first time, too. So excited and almost time!! You can check crochet.org periodically. There is also knitandcrochet.com
See you all there 🙂
