After making the Happy Holidays Tree Skirt, I wanted to make a Christmas stocking to match - so here's the Happy Holidays Stocking free crochet pattern!

The Happy Holidays Stocking uses Lion Brand Wool-Ease for a rich, elegant look - though the White Frost colorway is just a little whimsical, and full of sparkle! The pom poms are optional, but very on trend right now - and easy to remove later if you want to do so. Add a letter from the Moogly Crochet Alphabet to personalize a stocking for someone special this year!

In round 27 (beginning the heel) you have the crocheter work in 20 stitches but give the row count as 21. Which is correct?
Tamara Kelly
I apologize Darlene, there was a typo in the instructions - I've updated the pattern. Row 27 should read:
Row 27 (Beginning the Heel): Ch 1, sc in 1st 2 sts, [dc in next st, sc in next 3 sts] 4 times, dc in next st, sc in next 2 sts; turn (remaining sts unworked). (21 sts)
Susie
If I were to want a more "bent" stocking, one with a more drastic angle at the heel, how could I adjust this?
Thanks a million!
Tamara Kelly
Hi Susie! You would need to redesign the entire heel and ankle, I'm afriad.
Jenn
For row 43 do we do the dc in the same st as the slst?
Tamara Kelly
It's been a while, but I believe so, yes!
