I am SO excited to share that I recently filmed another fantastic Craftsy class!!
It's all about the CROCODILE stitch - and I really go in depth on this stitch. It was so much fun to really dive into this stitch and go over all the amazing things you can make and do with it!
From rows to rounds, increases to decreases, embellishments and after thoughts, it's all in there! If you ever wanted to really learn about the Crocodile Stitch, this is the class to take. It includes 2 crochet patterns, and teaches you all you need to know to work any pattern - or design your own!
And best of all, even though the class won't be released until February 29th... I get to start giving one enrollment away now!! I'll be sending out a link to the winner on as soon as the class goes live - currently slated for March 7th - you'll be one of the first to enroll!

This looks like a great class, may have to start a "Class Jar" to save $ to purchase! Thank you again for sharing your passion of crocheting with us!

I have watched videos and tried this stitch but as of yet not actually used it in anything. It is a yarn hogger but a nice stitch.
I love your videos they are always clear to understand. Just finished a Moroccan tile throw after watching your video.
Tamara Kelly
🙂 Thank you so much!

I love your videos, patterns, and Crafts class. Can't wait to add this one to my Wishlist/cart : ) Like Erin, I'd love to make Christmas decorations using crocodile stitch - trees, wreaths, etc. : )
Tamara Kelly
😀 Thank you so much Kelly!

I have finally figured this stitch out but I can't seem to keep the scales from curling in!!!!!!! Any suggestions or tips how to flatten them? Thank you in advance for you input!
Tamara Kelly
Hi Shirley! A couple things to try - bumping up the hook size, and blocking. To block the Crocodile stitch, I just spritz the finished item with my water bottle, shape the scales a bit with my fingers, and then let air dry. 🙂 I hope one or both of these helps!
