Whether it is the day after Thanskgiving or the day before Christmas, you can have these ornaments on the tree in time for present opening, because these two patterns work up fast, and look fantastic! Introducing a pair of fast and festive crochet christmas ornaments: the Peppermint Flash Ornament and Rustic Luxury Star Ornament!

Just two skeins of Lion Brand Gold Leaf will make 8 - 12 ornaments, so grab your two favorites and add some sparkle to your holiday this year! Looking for a more delicate ornament? Try Lion Brand Vanna's Glamour and 4 mm hook instead! Gauge is unimportant, just get the fabric to make ornaments you like!
As for the ornament hooks (because I know you'll ask!), I purchased them at our local Home Depot. I haven't been able to find the same ones online, but I did find some that are similar on Amazon US.

These ornaments are so adorable and would be a great way to use up some scraps of fancy yarns! The hooks are so festive and should be easy to make with leftover beads and wire from old Beadery ornament kits. : )
Thanks for sharing your patterns : )
